The Keepsake Company
1. Overview
These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by The Keepsake Company,
including digital storytelling, printed products, and video creation services.
By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Payment Terms
Full payment is required before production begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
For premium or custom projects, a 50% deposit may be required, with the balance payable
prior to final delivery.
All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Payments are non-refundable once production has commenced.
3. Client Content & Storage
Clients are responsible for uploading all photos, videos, and materials via our
designated platform.
We do not guarantee permanent storage of client content.
All uploaded content will be stored for a maximum of 30 days after final delivery.
After this period, content may be permanently deleted without notice.
4. Production & Turnaround Times
Estimated turnaround times are as follows:
- Digital stories: 3–7 working days
- Printed books: 10–20 working days
- Highlight videos: 5–10 working days
Timelines begin only after full payment is received and all required content is submitted.
Delays caused by incomplete uploads or client feedback pauses are not our responsibility.
5. Revisions & Approval
Each project includes one round of revisions.
Additional revisions may be charged at our discretion.
Final approval by the client confirms that all spelling, layout, and content is correct.
No changes can be made after final approval.
6. Delivery & Shipping
Shipping costs are charged separately unless stated otherwise.
Delivery times may vary depending on location.
We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers or customs.
7. Content Responsibility
Clients warrant that they own or have permission to use all submitted content.
We are not liable for copyright infringement arising from client submissions.
8. Creative Interpretation
While we aim to align with client expectations, all products are subject to creative
discretion.
Minor differences in colour, layout, or design may occur.
9. Data & Privacy
Client data and uploaded content will be handled with confidentiality.
We do not sell or distribute client content to third parties.
Basic client information may be stored for administrative purposes.
10. Cancellations & Refunds
Orders may be cancelled before production begins for a partial refund, less admin fees.
Once production has started, no refunds will be issued.
11. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for loss of client content after the storage period.
Our liability is limited to the value of the service purchased.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.
13. Acceptance
By placing an order, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to
these Terms & Conditions.
